Our first mixed-use development project in Cambodia known as D’Seaview will have its roof topping ceremony on 27th June 2018. The handover for the commercial and residential units are expected to take place in Q3 of 2018 and first half 2019.

Ground breaking ceremony for the Group’s first freehold mixed-use development in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. After unveiling a special commemorative backdrop, Dr. Wang Kai Yuen, Chairman of SGX mainboard-listed Hong Lai Huat Group along with the Guest-of-Honour – His Excellency, Yun Min, Governor of Sihanoukville and Dato Dr. Johnny Ong, CEO and Deputy Chairman of the Hong Lai Huat Group, launched the ground breaking ceremony of D’Seaview.
The ground breaking ceremony held at the 9,818-square metre site in Sihanoukville, also saw about 200 guests from Cambodia and Singapore in attendance for the milestone event.

Opening of D’Kranji Farm Resort in September 2008, graced by Taiwanese celebrity, 吴宗宪, Jacky Wu. Located in northwest of Singapore at 10 Neo Tiew Lane 2, Kranji Countryside, it is Singapore’s first and only agri-tainment, offering a tranquil getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The Group expanded to Cambodia and diversified into the agricultural business with the inception of its agricultural subsidiary, HLH Agriculture (Cambodia) Co. Ltd. The brand CAMFARM was set up to focus on acquiring and developing land parcels into fully functional farms for potential investors with interests in the agricultural sector in Southeast Asia.
The Group successfully launched its first freehold property development project, D’Ecosia located at 27 Still Road.
Hong Lai Huat Group Limited was successfully listed on the mainboard of the Singapore Exchange on 21st June.
After having successfully completed the construction of numerous property projects – HDBs, shopping malls, community centres and industrial properties, the Company received the G8 ranking from the Building and Construction Authority. This is an industry benchmark that allows companies to tender for public sector projects with no limitation on the value of projects.

Dato Dr Johnny Ong converted the company from sole proprietor into a private limited company.
